A Weekend of Grounding, Healing & Expansion

August 1 - 3, 2026
At Dimensions Algonquin Highlands

for a deeply nourishing three‑day retreat designed to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect, with your body, your inner wisdom, and the life that’s asking to unfold through you.

Set against the breathtaking natural beauty of the Algonquin Highlands, this weekend is an invitation to step out of the noise and demands of daily life and into a spacious, luxurious container of care, presence, and possibility. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll be gently guided through practices that ground you in embodied awareness, quiet the mind, and help unravel the thought patterns and habitual ways of being that keep you feeling stuck or small.

This retreat is equal parts restorative and expansive, serious inner work held with warmth, pleasure, laughter, and ease.

Facilitators

Simone Nitzan

Simone will guide meditations that invite you into an intimate and honest relationship with yourself, helping you recognize the beauty of being with your life as it is, even when it’s tender or difficult. Her movement classes are grounded, intelligent, and empowering, designed to reconnect you with the body as a powerful gateway to presence. Expect practices that mobilize, strengthen, and awaken you, challenging you in unexpected ways while bringing you back to your foundation. You’ll leave feeling more resilient, embodied, and confident in your capacity to meet life.

Vicky Tomsky

Vicky will lead restorative yoga and manifestation workshops that support deep inner change. Through a safe, grounded, and empowering approach, she helps you access and reframe subconscious beliefs and patterns that limit your freedom. This work gently dismantles the internal “jails” that keep you from living fully, replacing them with clarity, self‑trust, and inner spaciousness. By combining restorative movement with profound subconscious work, this retreat offers transformation from the inside out.

Testimonials

  • Simone is great. I accompanied Simone on two of her retreats and will be going on a third this Autumn. She is a generous and empathetic yoga instructor, able to witness and accommodate my limited range of motion, both pushing me to explore my limits while also celebrating what I can do. Simone shares her love, knowledge and enthusiasm for yoga, showing the practice to be both joyful and spiritually fulfilling.

    Katherine C.

  • First and foremost--Simone is an expert yoga teacher. Any retreat that she organizes is guaranteed to be fun in addition to fantastic yoga classes that she will adjust for each participant. The food will be good, the accommodations good, and excursions that add to getting to know each location. I have attended three of her retreats and hope to attend more in the future.

What You’ll Take Home

By the end of the weekend, you’ll leave with practical tools you can continue to use long after the retreat ends, including ways to:

  • Work skillfully with fear and limiting beliefs

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Strengthen focus, motivation, and self‑trust

  • Create supportive, sustainable habits

  • Feel more at home in your body and in your life

Most importantly, you’ll return feeling more connected, to yourself, to what matters, and to the quiet inner knowing that guides you forward with courage, ease, and authenticity.

This is a weekend to be held, inspired, nourished, and reminded of who you are beneath the noise. A weekend to heal, expand, and have a little fun along the way.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Absolutely. Our retreats welcome everyone—from complete beginners to long-time practitioners. Simone and Jeff are experienced in creating inclusive, supportive spaces where everyone feels at ease.

  • Not at all. The morning sessions combine movement, meditation, rest, and philosophical reflection. You're not doing physical yoga the whole time—and most people are surprised by how quickly the time passes.

  • Not at all. Many participants come solo, and our retreats are designed to build community while also honouring your personal space. Whether you're looking for connection or quiet, you'll be supported.

  • Yes. Simone is highly skilled in adapting practices to suit individual needs. Whether you're working with injuries, joint replacements, or chronic conditions, modifications will be available so you feel safe and cared for.

  • That’s exactly why we practice. Meditation is about meeting yourself where you are. Simone and Jeff are skilled at guiding people with all levels of experience (and all kinds of minds) into stillness at their own pace.

  • Manifestation is the practice of using the science of the mind to bring your deepest desires to life. By studying how the subconscious mind works and identifying the limiting beliefs that hold us back, we can break through the barriers standing between us and the lives we truly want to create. Far from being a mystical concept, manifestation is firmly grounded in psychological science and meditation – it's a practical, evidence-based approach to transforming the way you think, so you can transform the way you live.
